Mr. Houghton’s Tree

This is a simple book to describe and a beautiful book to flip through.
Time lapse photographs were taken of one maple tree in Vermont throughout the year.
Then each photograph was carefully registered in place with all the others with the result being a smoothly moving sequence of the changes of the tree throughout the year. You see the tree gaining its leaves in the spring, the leaves thickening and deepening in color over the summer, and finally turning a golden yellow and dropping, bringing the tree right back to where it “started”. 3 x 6 inches; in full color throughout.
